WATER SOFTENING
As the hardness of water is mainly formed by calcium, magnesium and said, so the general use of cation exchange resin (water softener), the water ca2 +, Mg2 +(the main component of the formation of scale) replacement, with the increase of Ca2 +, Mg2 + within the resin, the resin to remove the effectiveness of Ca2 +, Mg2 + gradual ly decreased. When the resin absorbs a certain amount of calcium and magnesium ions, it must be regenerated,the regeneration process is to use the salt tank in the salt water flushing the resin layer, the hardness of the resin ions in the replacement of the regeneration of the waste liquid discharged out of the tank, the resin on the fork restored to the softening of the exchange funct ion.
